OT: National Show / Sportkings Presidential Cuts
Posted By: <b>Brian T.</b><p>The best I can tell, this is the best place to pose such an inquiry. As we are aware, Sportkings returned to the hobby this past year after their long hiatus. I am normally not one to chase modern insert sets as I am becoming more and more addicted to collecting vintage; however, Series A has an insert set called Presidential Sportkings that caught my attention. It is a set of 14 one-of-one cards with pictures of various presidents engaged in some sporting activity (golf, football, baseball, bowling, etc.) along with a signature cut. I heard that the Kennedy was pulled at the National Show and wondered if anybody here heard anything about it or knows where it ended up. In addition to the Kennedy, I am also looking for the LBJ, FDR, Hoover, and Ford. Anybody have any information on any of these cards? Thanks for your help!
