Posted By: <b>Alan</b><p>John - <br /><br />Excellent question !!! <br /><br />My feeling from correspondences with REA & others (who consign & buy from REA) is that they concentrate mostly on vintage baseball. They choose not to accept consignments of other sports cards/memorabilia unless it's really something special.<br /><br />Each auction house seems to have speciality and/or concentrate on different sports/americana. Mile High's speciality is cards, while Grey flannel concentrates on uniforms/memorabilia. Hunt & Lelands have equipment. Heritage is very specialized, too. There's a hockey only auction house (Classic Auctions) in Canada. R&R is only autographs, Hakes is primarily Americana, etc,.... <br /><br />Being a very low end collector, I can't afford anything in any auction house anyway, but as a hobby observer & researcher, I wish there was a football only auction house (no disrespect to Mike Hattley) that would have high end & rare cards & memorabilia for all of you to add to your great collections.<br /><br />Alan
