I need help with this pin. Should I try to clean it or leave it alone and what should I use to clean it if I try? Thanks D.

Likely won't clean too great. Be careful what you clean it with because the inks on the pin are water soluble. Maybe use a dry cloth and see what you can get off. Maybe panty hose as they are slightly abrasive (insert crazy comment here)....good luck
