Show me your Joe Jackson cards

How long has it been since we've had a JoJax show'n'tell? Let's see some Jackson action. Maybe one of those pesky New York lawyers has a T210 he can show. You can even post the notorious T202 if you want. Feel free to contribute ludicrous commentary, too. Here's mine:

Interesting but I don't believe your card on the left is a Jackson, David. I know from period photos of him that he did not, in fact, have a red Hitler mustache. Nice try.

Yay!! Ludicrous commentary from a New York lawyer! Double dog bonus for the best post so far.

The one on the right doesn't really look like him, either, in my opinion. Always looked more like Cobb than Jax to me.

Joe (circled) walking to the ballpark circa 1911.

Peter: The resemblance is uncanny. This could change vintage card collecting as we know it. Especially for Jeff.

I'm posting these pictures sarcastically to keep the theme going.

Since when did Cobb swing three bats? Interesting.

I guess after 368 posts in the other thread, we should include this one.........

trade card....

I have deduced that none of the players shown are Jackson. All these guys are wearing shoes. (Cracker Jack and E90-1 requires faith!)

That is a really interesting card, Leon.

I agree 100% w/ Jim! Just because some co. printed his name on the bottom of a piece of cardboard is not enough for me---I need more proof!

I don't have anything funny to add (have I ever?), but I thought this might be in line with the theme of the last few days. Below are 2 photos from the Library of Congress Harris & Ewing collection, taken in DC c1913. The left one is of course Jax.

We thought the right one was also him. The haircut matches. I coudn't see any difference in the ears, and the ear looked like like Jax's ear should from that angle - of course that is only a judgment based on doing this alot. The long nostril also looks right.

Then we matched three of the fabric frays in the cap as well as a long crease on the top right. So - the judgement was beyond a reasonable doubt that it's Jax (or someone wearing his cap :))

But an attorney named Peter (albeit, a San Francisco lawyer, not a New York lawyer) told me that Joe played barefoot! It has to be true.
