Glove cleaning help needed... I need to clean up a few vintage (1940s-1950s) baseball gloves that were found in old buildings... They have spider webs, dirt, dust, and who knows what else all over them... Any ideas? Thanks Travis tlwise12@aol.com |

http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=134819 As a follow-up to some comments in that thread, the glove experts at the websites noted there regard Vaseline as too thick to be absorbed by the leather, and therefore not damaging and a nice "finishing touch" if used very sparingly. Your mileage may vary. |

I've used armor all leather cleaner and found it works good to start. Its a spray so its easy to use. If the glove needs a deep cleaning, there are other ways to go, but armor all is quick and simple. Matt |
