Looking For Recommendations On T-206 Sellers.

New to T-206 collecting and to the forum. Some great stuff out here. I'm looking for recommendations on good places to purchase graded T-206 cards. Does anyone know of a dealer or seller that has the best prices or selection? Thanks to all who can help me get started on my collection.

I'd also consider non-graded, but maybe not quite yet as I'm not confident in my experience to avoid reprints.

Joes

Hi, you've found the right place. I would strongly recommend Joe's as one possible place to buy T206 SGC graded cards. First off, I am in no way related to this seller other than buying several cards from him and am very satisified with the service and $...Generally speaking, his prices are very reasonable although some of the lower grade stuff could be won 10-20% lower in an auction format. That said, most of the BIN %'s are right around what the market value is, and the shipping is super-quick, et.c Good luck.

Absolutely correct. I am also not affiliated with Joe's at all.

Here is what you can be sure of from Joe's:

1. Quick Responses to e-mails
2. Fantastically efficient with regard to shipping and packaging. You'll almost always receive your items within 2-3 days.
3. Best of all - right at market prices for nearly every item, sometimes a little below.

Plus you can order off his website and avoid shipping charges.I have never had a problem with them and not to long ago they were having Ebay auctions to clear some T206 inventory.

Not affiliated with Joes either and to date I have only purchased Goudey cards from them. Agree with everything that has been posted.

Have purchased many cards over the past 3 years with only fast smooth transactions. I am not afiliated in any way with Joe's Vintage Cards.

What about...

How about Heroes of Sport - http://www.heroesofsportinc.com/itemcatalog.aspx. They seem to have a nice selection and price model.

In my dealings with both Joe and Tony I have found them to be scrupulously honest which is a good place to start.

May be great people but I loathe listings with no back scans.

Agreed on Joe and Tony, great sellers.

Will J (HerosOfSports) is very good as well as Tony and Joe. Also, most likely anyone with thousands of perfect feedback on ebay will be good as well as anyone on our Buy Sell Trade pages. Make sure you get references from every one you do business with. Also, any of our banner advertisers should be looked at for T206's and other cards and memorabilia in their auctions and venues. regards

Totally agree on Joe's, I can also recommend Iggyman and Ted Z on the BST for T206.

I have to give a shout out for Baggers Sportscards. I've bought from them on more than one occasion and they are always friendly & helpful.

Do yourself a favor and pickup a few low grade raw cards of the set(s) that you are interested in. Buy them from someone on the board via the BST - they WILL be real.

Then study them. Look at them carefully, feel them, sniff them, look at them under a blacklight if you can. It won't take too long before you get confident enough to tell as scam from the real deal.

Regards,
Scott
