One hundred years ago - September 7, 1911 - Cy Young loses a 1-0 pitchers' duel to a rookie named Grover Cleveland Alexander. A month later, Young retires with a career 511 wins.

I question my decision to focus my collection on HOF Pitchers when I realize I will have to eventually save up enough money to buy a Cy Young card.

But I always ask when looking at these two great hurlers...why do they each look like 60 yr old men in every picture...even the earliest ones?:p
