If you were watching this and wanted to bid on it at the end, how would you feel about this thread? Just curious.... |

 Tom Needham. |

Thanks for the reply......yea I understand and thought about that before posting. I am currently the high bidder so I know it is a risk posting it. I figured since I was high on it, I am only hurting myself. At any rate, I needed to get a proper ID to see if I wanted to go any higher. Thanks Jason |

I knew the bashing I probably would get by posting but I needed the ID. I know I am taking a risk running it up as well. Info was sent. Cheers, Jason |

I'm sure no shortage of people have already seen this. Got 'em....got 'em....Needham. |

Shouldn't there just be a rule enforced that no one can post a thread about a live auction, except in the instance it is a fake? And that's a nice card. |
|
 Thanks Barry......FYI I put my max bid in at $3000. ;) |
|
No there cannot be a rule like that. This is an American site........not a communist one. :D |

LOL@Barry cool....I was hoping my bid would get maximized. Sorry again if I pissed anyone off, but I appreciate the identification Barry. |

For the record, that is the identical image used for Needham in the 1905 Spalding Guide. I actually looked this up for somebody a few days ago. |

Yeah I was watching that auction and wondering who the player was myself. When I saw it jump up to $500+ this morning, I was out. Nice card though. Was the 1905 Spalding Guide the only place that this exact image was used? It wasn't on any card at all? |
