FS: 1950 Yankees/Phillies WS press release/scoresheet lot
 

First in a small collection of cool vintage press releases, All star and WS media notes, etc, that I just acquired. VERY interesting historical stuff.

Today, Im offering a really nice group of 1950 World series between the Yankees and the Whiz Kids Phillies collection. First. Several pages of each team, biographies, lineups, WS records, etc, items released by the League Service bureaus.

Also included, to me the HIGHLITE of this LOT, in this 1950 lot is a really cool group of FOUR paper scorecards, copiously scored, with small notes on back, by a sportswriter, who I believe most items in the entire collection originated from. Really nice group and one of several similar lots of All star/world series, etc ephemera that I will offer. These are REALLY COOL AND DIFFERENT. You will like these lots

Pieces folded as found, w some minor tears/wear, but very solid for age overall
