 Tough Luck Lexicon Was wondering what players got tagged with a "tough luck" stigma by baseball historians to describe current baseball topics. I was thinking about Mario Mendoza "Mendoza Line" and Tommy John "Tommy John surgery". Any others I'm missing? |

 Not sure Tommy John is a negative...been so many pitchers that have had successful careers (or extended careers) because of that surgery...I now think TJ surgery is not a bad thing. I could put Dr. Strangeglove in this category though. Mitch Williams as "wild thing" also should qualify. Joshua |
