What is the best paper cutter to trim cards with?

I know I am gonna get a lot of flak for this, but I am not looking to deceive people. I am looking for a decent paper cutter to trim up some cards. I have a Doby slate background that looks like printers scrap that I want to look alot cleaner. Can anyone recommend one without any smart a** comments thinking I am up to no good?

I would use a straight edge and exacto knife. A guillotine cutter is could make the card move a bit as it is cutting if you don't have it held tight enough, and a rotor trimmer is easiest but there is no point spending that much money if you don't use it often.

The original owner was the Bowman card company from 1949. Do you think they are still around???

I have full sheets cut at a picture framing gallery. They use a matting cutter and it does a great job.
