Anyone interested in having a gathering...maybe share some cards over drinks...lunch or dinner...somewhere in the twin cities area?

November maybe...weekend day, night perhaps? Any interest?

cool guys...i got a pm from a member near madison who know a group of collectors in that area as well. he'll let me know if they'll be in this area in the near future. And I know 1 or 2 others as well.

It looks like I am going to cancel this proposed mn/wi gathering due to lukewarm interest and my busy schedule. As an alternative...there is a card show at the Earle Brown Conference Center near DT Mpls the following weekend...see link:

Sterling will be there and I understand Pete Sykes as well...I will most likely be there saturday for a few hours...so if anyone is interested in meeting up there...take advantage!!!!

For perspective, I had to cancel one Seattle Net54 get together due to cancellations and one had four people. Four was enough for a good group.

As someone who has tried to organize many things, and do different things, I can safely say it is hard to get anyone to do anything that involves actually moving your body. People are all into stuff until it comes time to do it. Then there is always something that comes up or something more important. It happens.
