Super neat! This is like holding a piece of card collectings past, before the days of book value or a grading scale! These cards have been skinned and glued onto pages, the front and back cover are plywood, but the nostalgia is endless.
Cards are about 50/50 baseball and football. Lots of stars and HOFers. Baseball is made up of 1954 Topps - 1963 with the bulk being 55 Bowman. Football is the same way, about 60% being 55 Bowman. I took about 40 photos so I'll just add this link to the bucket:

That's pretty neat. Have you tried to remove any cards? Looks like somebody used plenty of glue. But it's actually kinda cool as it is.

No, I haven't tried to remove any, but I can't imagine that they would come out pretty. It's fun just to hold and look at(and smell:D) like it is.

Very neat item! It kind of looks like they were already soaked ... perhaps to make skinning them easier?

You can really feel the time and energy the collector put into this project through the photos.

I absolutely love those old hinges, and the wood binder. It reminds me of something my grandfather would have made in his workshop.
