Looking for a nice binder for my all raw set: Found one!
I'm looking for a nice binder to display my E120 set. I'm looking for something besides the standard plastic binder. I'm thinking of maybe a leather binder with a zipper that can close completely to keep out air and dust. Something like that. I just don't really know what's out there. Anyone have any unique binders for their raw sets?

You might want to contact Doug Goodman, he had a very clever way to display his collection when I purchased it. He had everything in special folders, in two different layers of plastic sheets. One of the best ways I've seen someone keep cards.

Thanks Sean. I will do that.

I am a big fan of the MJ Roop sets. Sadly, they have discontinued them, but they sound like they won't fit your needs anyway, cause they are still traditional binders.

These are the slipcase binders that Roop sold, they just added screening on the spine.

Luke,
If I see ya at the show in June i'll give you some ideas. Rob |
Sounds good Rob. I'll see you there.

Luke- I sent this as a reply a few weeks back on the post-war site, but Gaylord Archival Products has some great though expensive albums too. I think you can Google them and come up with several series of leather type albums. I have been debating the same things on my sets.

SGC has a section for such items. Graded and non-graded and other items.

All the Roop binders I own have press on lettering, none were screened.

Rob hooked me up with this cool little binder that slides nicely into it's own case. Will fit perfectly into a safe deposit box as well. Thanks Rob! Here are some pics of the cards going from slabs and top loaders into the binder:
