Shale,
What is the stamping on the ball (National League, ML, etc.)?
More info would be helpful....

Have you compared the inscription to Koufax's inscription on other perfect game balls?

BTW, my first inclination would be to pass on this ball, FWIW. Too many inconsistencies for me to spend my money on this one...

It is my opinion that this is no good. Look at how labored everything in the signature is. Koufax is very free flowing and smooth. This is choppy with heavy pen pressure. That is without even going in to detail on the letters. Plus it's a highly desirable notation. The should be screaming to you. Maybe i'm wrong, but I wouldn't buy it.

I would pass and not just for the K in Koufax.

Looks like a plastic China ball. If so, that is a red flag in itself.

Shale,
Look for a different ball if you are looking to add one to your collection.

Koufax would never add that inscription to a ball without charging $$$.
Who would possibly use a China ball for a Koufax sig and inscription that would cost $500- $600? Nobody.........

I too have always found that to be a good clue regarding an ebay seller.
And the Jimmy Collins ball is authenticated by Rare and Signed the new favorite of the Roaches Corner. Enough said.

talkin' bout China ball, woa wo, o o, China Ball...AND Fake & Signed, there's your answer. :D No need to go any further.

As the comment regarding the K was one sign the ball was bad. To me the S was to me the true sign that the ball was garbage.
