RMY winnings

So I got shut out of the one photo I wanted. I just couldn't go any higher than I did.
I'm sure some people here won some stuff, so let's see it.

Picked up a few other Pirates photos, as well. But, this take the cake. To my fellow autograph collectors: Anyone ever come across an autograph of him so I can get this framed and matted?

Kept it tamer this month with only 3 images:

2 Cochranes:

Who is the player?

Runscott 02-18-2015 04:20 PM

Scott - here's some context. Try a guess!

Scott - the knuckle baller is "Chick" Brandom of the 1908 Pittsburgh Pirates.

Thanks Rhys for another great auction.

Ooops…totally forgot to mention the pitcher's name and significance. This photo is the earliest known photo of a pitcher delivering a knuckleball. Brandom was not even know to be a knuckler.

Now that is a great photo given it's context that you described. Congrats!
I would not have been able to ID him and certainly did not know that about him being the first to be photographed delivering the knuckleball...
Thanks!

Just got these in. 1913 World Series at Shibe Park, and 1919 Shawkey (didn't realize my back scan was cut short, doh!)
