Picked up a few other Pirates photos, as well. But, this take the cake. To my fellow autograph collectors: Anyone ever come across an autograph of him so I can get this framed and matted?

Scott - here's some context. Try a guess!
|
Scott - the knuckle baller is "Chick" Brandom of the 1908 Pittsburgh Pirates.
Thanks Rhys for another great auction. |
Ooops…totally forgot to mention the pitcher's name and significance. This photo is the earliest known photo of a pitcher delivering a knuckleball. Brandom was not even know to be a knuckler.

I would not have been able to ID him and certainly did not know that about him being the first to be photographed delivering the knuckleball... Thanks! |

Just got these in. 1913 World Series at Shibe Park, and 1919 Shawkey (didn't realize my back scan was cut short, doh!)
