Black Swamp Find - Archives?
 

Apologies for being remedial -

The Heritage auction has a bunch of the high grade black swamp cards in it. Since I didn't join until February '14, I wasn't here when the find happened as was curious to the reaction of the board when the cards were found.

I attempted to use the search function - I searched Black Swap, E98, and a few other things - in he title under advanced search - and I couldn't find what I would think would have been the original thread.

Could someone throw me a link to that (as well as let me know what I did wrong?)

I'm not very smart. This came up in my search last night and I started reading it. I thought that it was something else because it had a lot of comments about TPGs on page one.

My grandpa was born in 26. He is 89. He grew up very poor so gum cards were a luxury he couldn't afford. Too bad that he didn't accumulate a big pile of 33-38 Goudey's with a smattering of Delongs, Batters Up, Tatoo Orbits and Dismond a Stars mixed in...

That was a magical time.
