Game-used Melted Ice

Quote:

Make way for the latest in what’s become a new line of hockey memorabilia: crystal pucks from major NHL events with melted ice inside. Fanatics is pre-selling pucks for the 2016 Winter Classic between Montreal and Boston on New Year’s Day in Foxboro, MA.

Standard in size and licensed by the league, the pucks sell for $49.99 and feature the NHL logo and commissioner’s signature on the top.
If you combine this with Derek Jeter game-used dirt, do you call it multi-sport mud?

There is no end to stupidity.

Neater than bat dust.

One old Mastro auction lot that always stands out in my mind as a benchmark was "Jack Kerouac's pants."

Road used, no doubt.

Didn't Mastro auction one of Bill Veeck's artificial legs back in the '90s?

I have some game-used air from some of the most historic major sporting events if anyone is interested. ;)

This isn't new.

Back in 1996, the Colorado Avalanche made/sold these after they won the Stanley Cup.

What happens if you freeze it back into it's original condition?

That's funny because I recall someone on television once said they had kept game-used air from Ebbets Field last game or something.
