Is this postcard rare or significant?
 

Question for those who may know, is this postcard rare or historically significant (because of the content on the reverse?) Is that Addie Joss seated on the left? It came with a collection of items I am selling for a friend of my dad's and I have no info on it. Would anyone want to render a guess on a fair asking price?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the thread seems to have died off before any concrete evidence ever came to light. Funny how Leon says maybe this will come around again in 2 years and that's about the time frame here!
Whether it's Wood or Joss, who knows, but does anyone know what it's worth?

Not sure the price but when you figure one out I would definitely be interested in it.

Not a particularlt rare postcard, but the content on back along with Logan Galbreath's signature is where more value rests in my opinion. The postcard by itself probably would sell in the $40 -60 range or so on a good day. I think to the right person the content on back (Galbreath auto) would probably make the card worth in the $100-150 range or so. I could be wrong but were it mine I would likely sell it in that range. May get more from a PCL or Western States collector given the Los Angeles postmark and the fact that Galbreath was in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Also, IMO that is NOT Joe Wood on the postcard, respect other peoples opinions but NOT him.

So, what's the answer. Seems like most people don't believe either Joss or Woods is in the picture.

Wow.....just wow.

The post mark is after Addie Joss's death but that doesn't mean it's not him. It kind of looks like him. Anybody want to zoom in on the ears and make a comment? :p
