Vintage Autograph Book w/41 Signatures inc TED WILLIAMS/DIZZY DEAN/BANKS/FRICK $350
 

Autograph book likely from the early 1960s containing 41 autographs, mostly Boston Red Sox related. All of the autographs are on individual pages except where noted. There are FIVE Hall of Famers included and some moderately tough deceased non-HOFers here. These were all likely obtained in person.

The Williams is a beautiful vintage signature. The Dean and Frick are back to back and the page can easily be cut in half if you want individual signatures. Likewise for Sheehan/Nagle. The Banks and Colavito are back to back and very close but can be separated with some careful cutting if desired. The Hemus/O'Neill/Hillman are on one side of one page, as are Jones and Fischer. Jensen and Massey cannot be separated without damaging one or the other. The Carl Yastrzemski doesn't look like it could remotely be the Red Sox left fielder, I'm guessing that it might be his father. On the Torre it appears the pen ran out of ink after "Jo" but the indentation of the entire signature is visible.

Some of the signatures in the early part of the book have the players number written underneath by the person (probably a youngster from the handwriting) who obtained them. They key HOF signatures are not affected in this way.
