I was speaking to a friend today about this card and we noticed that there is one player missing. Any one else notice who is missing and any idea of why? (The picture is not mine - taken from Google.)

Exactly. Now, why? Brooks R was the MVP of the 1970 World Series. My friend suggested the he was asked to take the picture.

'71 O's Team

I'm unsure why he's missing as well. The Orioles issued team photo's (Tadder) have Brooks pictured. It's been a mystery to me since the card was issued.

Does it actually picture the 1970 team? Knowing Topps it might not.

I've always been aware he was missing from the 1972 high number team shot, but I didn't realize until now that Topps used the same photograph from 1971�
