I am looking to sell my 1915 CJ JJ it is Authentic but has a mark on the lower back that's why it's authentic. Besides that it looks like a 7 or 8. Not sure how to price it so listening to offers. RobAttachment 232044

Has SGC confirmed that is the reason for the A grade?

Bigb13 05-22-2016 01:39 PM

That's what they told me. I live in NY and they are in NJ so I drove to them with a few cards and went in and had them done while I waited. They said because of the mark They had to grade it authentic.

bigfish 05-22-2016 01:58 PM

?

How much is the card?

Just a helpful suggestion but maybe you'd want to send it into PSA and get an 8 with a qualifier instead of the A grade you have now.

bigfish 05-22-2016 02:12 PM

Oh good

On offer...

1100 paid by cash, check, money order, or pay pal. Also will throw in a hard copy of 50 ways to ruin a card's value.

This offer is my best. I wish you well if you don't accept this competitive offer.

This offer expires in 48 hours.

calvindog 05-22-2016 02:26 PM

I will offer $1125 with the same time restrictions and the guarantee it will get a numerical grade if submitted to PSA.

bigfish 05-22-2016 02:29 PM

Value

Jeff, the real value is in the hard copy book... How to ruin a card's value. I am hoping the seller doesn't underestimate the value I have offered.

I put my best foot forward.

gnaz01 05-22-2016 02:36 PM

Is anyone else seeing the "mark" on the lower back??

Bigb13 05-22-2016 02:45 PM

People have to start breaking balls already. Maybe I will not sell it on this board to many assholes here.

Hey Robert, I'm NOT breaking balls, AND I'm being serious, can YOU point out where the mark is on the lower back. Maybe you can provide a larger scan?? Either way, no need to hurl insults when I am asking a question about something I CAN NOT SEE

Bigb13 05-22-2016 03:11 PM

Other people not you. I don't think I will sell it on this board. Email me if you want to.

Joshwesley 05-22-2016 03:38 PM

I've got 2k with your name on if!!!

For real though.... I don't know the value but really like the card. How much do you want for it ?

Thanks!

Because of you it's not for sale on the board no more so all the serious people can thank you for that.

Donscards 05-22-2016 03:43 PM

This is very interesting on this card---I sent the seller 2 emails trying to figure what he wants for a price---I also stated the VCP for a SGC Authentic and also one that sold on ebay---I also stated, he must be looking in the 5-6K range---He was very insolence to me and said I insulted him with a 5000 offer which I didn't make---I just was trying to see where he was in price for the card---Also the scans are hard to make out--the mark on the back is there but hard to distinguish as far as why SGC only gave him a authentic grade. Needless to say, a nice Joe Jackson card, but who knows what the seller wants for a price!

Don you are quoting vcp with a price of 3500 which doesn't even cover the one on eBay two weeks ago which was ripped in half and glued back that went for 4750 do no not even 5-6 would cover it.

The scan is too small for me to tell, but is there a mark or did someone try to repair the card?

Also

Sgc doesn't give a card an "a" for a mark. I presume something else must be wrong with it......

Best of luck with the sale. I am sure someone will buy it...

Apparently it was repaired until Bob figured he could make more money on a sale telling people there was an invisible mark on it. Now who's the asshole?

I heard numerous dealers claim your shit is worth 25-35K. Is this true?

bigfish 05-22-2016 04:34 PM

Jeff,

Thank you for pointing this out. I smelt shit right after I read the initial
" for sale" post. It wasn't the litter box.

Bigb13 05-22-2016 04:35 PM

Yes Goodman and a few others when I went to the Long Island National last April.

It doesn't change the fact that you continue to have no clue what you are doing. Every post you make devalues your card and character.

He knows what he's doing on occasion. Like when he lied today to the board and said there was a seemingly non-existent mark on the back of an otherwise grade 7-8 card -- when just last year he claimed that someone tried to repair the same card, thus causing the A grade.

Bigb13 05-22-2016 04:49 PM

If you had the card in hand you could see I am not a lying.

I sure am glad I didn't make a offer on his card, I didn't realize the card was tinkered with---He should have been more honest on his listing and replies to everyone---A person for sure, I will not deal with---

You said two different things. When you weren't trying to sell the card you admitted that the card was altered -- which is what the flip says. Now when you're trying to sell it you're claiming that on the day the card was graded you were told it had a nearly invisible mark which accounted for the A grade. Unless you took the Wayback Machine to the day you got the card graded and the grader told you a different story than what you stated a year ago, you're a liar. Short answer: you're a liar.

Bigb13 05-22-2016 04:53 PM

Sounds like you are pissed you couldn't get it for 3500 I would never deal with a person like you.

calvindog 05-22-2016 04:54 PM

I spent 65K on an SGC 84 1914 Jackson. Do you think I want your piece of shit altered card?

iowadoc77 05-22-2016 04:55 PM

calvindog 05-22-2016 04:59 PM

Still waiting for you to explain why you said last year the card was altered and today that SGC told you on the day of grading that the card had a slight mark on it....

They said there was a mark that someone tried to cover on the bottom of the back

calvindog 05-22-2016 05:01 PM

Where's the mark? And why did you say a completely different thing a year ago? Last year it was a crease that was repaired.

Bigb13 05-22-2016 05:02 PM

I always said the same thing
