I just read on another forum that there is an 8% eBay Bucks promotion going on now for those that received the email. I didn't receive it.

The coupon/discount codes are awesome and shareable. However, the higher percentage eBay bucks are not. You get invited and EBay calculates it internally if you activate it. There is no way to "sign up for it or apply it to a purchase" if you were not invited so don't get your hopes up or waste your time calling. It is a good reminder for everyone to check their email though.
