I subscribed to Newspaper.com. Did a 6 mos subscription. Can search through 1000s of old papers. Did it for family stuff but have also spent a decent amount of time reading contemporaneous articles about Ruth and Gehrig.

I took my sons to the HR Derby and All Star game a few years back. We were sitting in Power Alley for most hitters....and it was one of the most exciting baseball events we have ever been to....it was raining baseballs.
