Looking to Spend $2K on Mantles **DEAL HAS BEEN STRUCK**
 

Let me try this again...

Here it is. I have a total of $2,000 I'd like to spend on a group of Mickey Mantle cards (1969 and earlier). Basically an investment for the future (no comments, please). :)
My first priority would be to find a dealer/seller here, before heading down other avenues. If you have a good bunch to sell and could use the money to buy something else you've got an eye on, want to make a quick profit or whatever, give me a shout.

For anyone interested, here are the specifics:

• Non-graded is preferred, but a combo of graded and non-graded is fine (hate 'overspending' because something is graded, but understand both sides of that particular coin)
• Would like to get an assortment of cards, not one or two rarer cards 'worth' a total of $2,000
• I've already seen what's for sale here on the B/S/T and on ebay
• I know $2k isn't a huge amount of money to some people, but it is a pretty substantial sum to me and most other human beings
• I'm not looking to flip anything, just looking to hold onto them
• Mainly prefer regular issue Mantle cards instead of LL, All Star and other things, but am open to those as part of a combo
• Looking for cards in decent shape overall, nothing horrible unless it's more or less of a throw-in
• Nothing trimmed, colored or altered in any way
• Obviously, I want to get a good deal
• Please don't talk about VCP and such things
• You can include some cards of other big name players, but that should be secondary or used to sweeten a potential deal
• The more cards the merrier
• If you have a delicious deal to offer on a bunch of Mantles for less than the ceiling of $2,000, definitely feel free to reach out
• Payment method (regular paypal vs. FF, etc.), based on level of comfort, to be negotiated with seller
• In case I failed to mention it, make sure I'm getting a good deal
