Should I send this '59 Killebre to PSA or SGC?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to get input on which grading company to send this '59 Topps Harmon Killebrew to. I've sent thousands of cards to PSA over the years and have typically only sent Pre War cards to SGC.

In this case, I'm fairly confident I would receive a grade of PSA 6 MC by sending it in to PSA (the centering on the front is good, but the back is MC).

However, since SGC doesn't have qualifiers, I'm not sure what it would get at SGC. Can anyone with good SGC knowlege give me an idea of what would be best and what grade I would get with SGC?

Thank you!

My guess would be an SGC 55.

You can ask PSA to grade without qualifiers

PSA may not grade it at all because of the slanted edge cut aka Factory Miscut. They might, but I wouldn't count on it. I don't know what SGC would grade it, but the miscut back and the large print defect at the front bottom would hurt it. Does this card need to be graded?

That's not a print defect, that's just some dude doing squats. Gotta really squint to see it.

Good question. In my opinion, if I can get a PSA 4 or higher on it, then it's worth grading based on VCP pricing.

PSA possible 5 out of it ask for no qualifiers...

I think you get a 4. Personally if you like the card I would just keep it raw.
