1954 Braves Spic and Span Dry Cleaner bags question

Hi Gang

I recently picked up the two framed Spic and Span dry cleaning bags shown below of the Milwaukee Braves from 1954.

The one bag shows 18 players while the checklist for the 54 set says it is complete at 13 cards. No Aaron, Bruton, Conley, Johnson, Jolly or Wilson are on the checklist, yet shown on one of the bags.

Has anyone seen cards of any of the ones on the bag not on the checklist?

The second bag with 12 cards show Bruton who is not on the checklist but lacks Eddie Mathews who is on the list!

Any info would be appreciated.

BTW I picked these up to flip them so if interested PM me.

Best,

Fred

Larry:

The photos/cards shown on the bag are the poses/photos from the 54 set not the Die cuts.

ANOTHER Spic and Span Dry Cleaner bag!!

Hi Guys:

I was lucky enough to find and picked up another Spic and Span drycleaner bag showing the Braves. The guy I got from was not sure if it was from 1953 or 1954.

But in looking at the players I see Chet Nichols. Looking at his record on BB Reference it seems he was in the service in 1953 so I doubt Spic and Span would have included him in 1953. Thus I am dating this 1954.

Anyone have either of these? If so let's see them. Mine will be in BST soon
