Having to Pay Sales Tax on EBay Purchases
 

Starting October 1,2019 you must pay a 0.065% sales tax on any purchase you make on EBay.
They claim 34 states now require sales tax but they don't say anything about
the other 16 states. Do you think this will hurt sales on EBay?

I sell on eBay and some buyers get so bent out of shape over it. One accused me of charging sales tax. Folks the rooster has come home go roost, hope you have enjoyed it while it lasted.

For me personally what grinds my gears is that I recently paid my 10% commission invoice to eBay and noticed that I was taxed on that payment :(
