Ted Williams Autograph
1 Attachment(s)
Is this Ted Williams autograph real? It's on a Ted Williams Museum envelope and has the closed D, but I'm just not sure.

I am not good on Williams flat items. I am quite confident with Williams on a ball. This is not an item I would spend my money on. I just don't like the visual aspect to it. As far as authenticity, I can't say because its a flat, but its not something I'm spending my money on without better assurance.

Thank you for all your help. I actually prefer flat items as I don't have a ton of room for larger items.

I am 100% certain it is no good. Do not waste your money. It is a common forgery style. If you would like another example of this forger's work I have attached an image below on a bat. It is awful! https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/90QAA...UC/s-l1600.jpg

Shelley said it was good.
|
The bat is a Marino bat. It does not look like the signiture above.

I asked for a quick opinion from PSA/DNA and they said it was likely not genuine. I'll hold out for a better example, but thanks for all the help.
|
I can only say that if I am wrong it would not be the first time. I still think the signature is good.

It's probably good, but there's no reason to buy if there are any doubts. His autograph is readily available. Here is the Whitey Ford on the same type of numbered envelope.Attachment 403614

I believe the signature from OP is good. Completely different than the bat.
