Help with player identification
 

I'm doing some research on a player (William C. Bryan), who it turns out was involved with one of the first professional clubs in England. I came across a photo online of this club from about the right time, and I am trying to determine if he is in the photo. Below should be a known photo of the player (on the right) and a blow up of the person I think is him on the left. I'm looking at the dent on the chin and the eyes. I think it is the same person, but I would like some additional opinions.

Paul,

As you know, the strongest connection between the photos you provided is the cleft in the chin. Do you have other photos of Bryan for comparison?

Ear lobes look to be connected at the neck in both images as well.

I have no other images of Bryan at this time. I am excited to have possibly found one of him from his baseball days.
