Net54 Secret Santa - Covid Style

It�s the season of giving and Net54 always comes through with its annual tradition. So here we are...the kickoff to 2020�s Secret Santa - Covid Style - Please, do not send toilet paper (unless someone needs it) :D

For those of you who have never participated in the Net54 Secret Santa exchange before, members who volunteer for the exchange are given the name of another Net54 participant and will anonymously mail that person a gift. On December 25th, everyone will open their gift and post the results.

Rules (the fine print)

1. Gifts should be in the $25 range. The best gifts are not usually the most expensive. Try to get creative.

2. Envelopes/packages should be clearly marked "do not open until Dec 25" or �Net54 SS� or the like.

3. Open your present on the morning of the 25th.

4. Report your present on Net54.

How it works. (Please do these things. It will make my life much easier)

1. Reply to this thread and let everyone know you are in BEFORE December 1st (Sorry for the tight deadline � but to get a present, mail it, and get it there on time � we�re actually starting late).

2. Also by December1st � PM ME with your: 1) Full name 2) Full mailing address, 3) favorite team/player, 4)Collecting interest from the following categories: Pre-War, Post War, Modern, Non-baseball (football, basketball, hockey, non sports), or any of the above

I will try to match you to someone who has the same collecting interest as you do.

Please add any additional details in your PM. If you are currently working on a t205 set, �72 high numbers, or only collect items from the Yankees, let me know. Any info you give to me will be passed on to Santa.

Note to the Santas: you are only expected to hit the CATEGORY the person chose. If you can do better than that � GREAT! Your recipient will love that. To recipients - give Santa credit for trying.

3. I will PM you with your Secret Santa recipient�s information (the items above) by December 4.

4. Find something fun, wrap it, mark it "do not open" till the 25th, and SEND IT OUT NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 12th (sorry for the tight deadline � but 2 weeks is not a lot of time for the Post Office at this time of year). The quicker you get it out, the better.

5. Post on NET54 (in a reply to this thread) that you have mailed the package. If you have not posted by December 14, you should expect that I will be publicly asking you if the package has been sent.

6. Post on NET54 (in a reply to this thread) that your package was received. (helps me with bookkeeping)

That�s it.

I'm also fond of the E90-1 Young. As a lonely child, I would lie awake at night and dream of Cy and that beautiful red background staring back at me in a PSA 7 holder. 😁

Hey everyone. Thanks to those of you that joined. I was able to get it together sooner than I anticipated and have sent out messages letting you know about your person. The information I forwarded was EXACTLY the information that I received. Hopefully that is enough for you to go on. I did the best I could (the interests are vast).

Please respond to this thread and update tracking information and let the thread know when you have received your package (makes my book keeping easier)

With DM's on Net 54; one thing I set up was there is always an email alert when I receive a DM. That way, even if I miss the pop up, I know there is a message waiting

Mine will go out Thursday as the Enay sleigh arrived today and I work all day tomorrow. Recipient will not open until at least December 24 under pnalty of coal.

The recipient will need Santa himself to deliver in order to get it by the 24th!
