1914 - T330-2 Piedmont Art Stamp TPG holders

Sometimes I feel a holder is not the best solution for presentation. One less on the pop report.
*I guess this was just not the best placement of the Mylar bends in the holder. |
Nice card Leon. You should get it graded.

Are those sleeves Mylar? I have 4 mil Mylar holders on all of my prewar cards and they do not wrinkle like that. Looks like polypropylene (like a penny sleeve) or the cheapest possible 1 mil polyester film. I do share your frustration, though: this card annoys the heck out of me every time I look at the cheesy misfit sleeve SGC used
https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...20Jeffries.jpg I'd get rid of it but they are rare as hen's teeth and I can't bust it out because it is too delicate to risk busting out and storing raw. |
I just used the word Mylar...It is some kind of plastic, not sure. And it was not easy getting out of that inner sleeve.

I am all for plastic baggies when they keep food fresh. For cards...

Leon - that stamp looks much better out of the TPG holder. Regardless of the sleeve.
Nice pick-up! :D |
Eddie looks much happier released from his tomb.
