1990 Leaf Baseball Set With 493 / 528 Cards Signed

I'm going to throw this out there and see if there is any interest...I've been working on getting the 1990 Leaf set completely signed since it came out. I slacked off for a long time and missed out on a few of the toughies on eBay. It's got to the point now where I'm not sure it's worth trying to finish. The cards I need don't come up very often and the fees for some of the guys through signings are getting out of my budget.

I'm hesitant to do a break up. Anyone starting this set now would be nuts, but there's a really good opportunity to get to 520 or better. The clean design makes this set a great one for autographs.

I've got 493 of the 528 cards signed. I'd say 85% of them were signed in person from 1990-1994 including Thomas, Griffey and Ripken. Of the ones left over half can be had through signings. Mel Hall will probably never get out of jail so unless you can find one in the wild he's probably impossible but he was a decent signer in person when he played. Of course whether or not you want him in the collection is another issue. Kelly Gruber will not sign his card and it's pretty much believed that one doesn't exist. Several deceased players are in the set but missing some biggies - Puckett and Gary Carter.

Offers, expressions of interest, feedback, opinions on price point all welcome. I haven't completely decided to sell this yet but if some was willing at or near the price I'd certainly do it.

I'm going to start scanning the key cards this weekend.

Gruber signed a copy for each of his children and promised to never sign it again. He's a more than willing signer on other cards but his 90 Leaf is the white whale for anyone working this set.

I actually started this set at the beginning of 2020 and amped it up during the pandemic......

I’m down to missing 52 in just over a year.

If you decide to break it up - you have some that I need for sure.
