Ed it's also a 1937 card, SGC got the date wrong, it's a series of Champions of 1936 issued the following year. Very nice card, if I didn't have one....

I updated the original listing to acknowledge that you disagree with SGC on the date of issuance. This would surely not be the first time a grading company has made a mistake.

It's not just me. Look at these including several SGC. They all say 1937. I think the flip on your particular card is a clerical error, unless they somehow discovered new info recently and changed how they and everyone else has dated them.

Hi-
I see your point that SGC and other companies have listed other cards from this set with a date of issuance of 1937. I would bet that you are correct about the possible reasons.
