There is a local auction that has a few vintage cards. I'm going to look at a few T cards. The auction listing also has this Ruth. I know, terrible pictures. Can anyone tell me what this is?
Thanks Craig |
likely not real...BUT...if it is it's worth a lot!!!!!! Need better imags to maybe tell? There are so few copies known one may be able to match this one against a real one if it's a fake/copy?

It's a 1914 Babe Ruth rookie card...99.9% not real..

This is the same image as seen on a 1914 Baltimore News card. But the ones I have seen either have a red or blue border. Almost assuredly not authentic. I would concentrate on the other vintage cards to see if any are legit. Any images of them?

Lol, ya that's definitely fake.

All the pre-war looks fake looking at the pictures. Here's the link if you want to go to it.

If they thought it was real they should get it authenticated and slabbed and then put at a Big Auction House and sell for big dollars But since it is a fake it sells this way |
I love the 1954 Bowman Mantle "Blowing Bubble" variation. Too bad SGC marked it counterfeit based on the label on the back of the sleeve... ;-)

The Goudey in lot 7356 looks real with the pinhole in the corner. |
