Thanks for sharing. I love the comment that he "was not a showboat", and likely was pointing two strikes at the Cubs dugout.
I also found it interesting that, at the time, the third base coach didn't reach out to the hitter to shake hands on the home run trot. If that were typical, I now wonder when that became (almost) standard. |
