Mailbox Question (STILL):
Is there a way to move sent messages to another folder i.e. Sales or Purchases?
Thanks in advance for any help, Robbie ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????? Yes. in your control panel, under "Private Messages" select "Edit Folders" which will allow you to add folders with the names that you want. Then in your "private Messages" folders select the message(s) that you want to move, then at the bottom choose "Move to folder... " and click "Go". It will then ask you which folder to move the messages to. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????? I guess I'm slower than most at it: While I had already created folders named SALES and PURCHASES, when I select certain 'sent' messages, and then click on the MOVE TO FOLDER, the only options I see are: Delete, Mark as read, Mark as unread, Download as XML, Download as CSV, Download as TEXT and Deselect all messages. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????? Anyone seeing the same options I am? . |

Select "Move to Folder" and then click on "Go" https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=33868 You will then get to the next page that gives you the folders that you can move to in a pull down. Choose the "Folder Name" that you want and then Click "Move Items". https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=33869 |

These are the options I see once I've selected a SENT item:
The default is delete Attachment 528913Attachment 528914 |
I'm guessing that image is of your "Sent Items" box?
I didn't realize but just looked at mine again. My "Sent Items" box also doesn't give me the option to move messages. Apparently can only do so form messages in my "Inbox." Is that the same for you? Do you get the Move option for items in your Inbox? |

A bit cumbersome but I suppose that you could forward a message from your Sent Items to yourself, and then move it from your Inbox to another folder.

I'll try that and let you know.

Go to "edit folders" on the left hand tool bar and create a new folder.
That folder will show up in your sent and receive folder pull down menu up top. Select a message and go down to the bottom pull down, should read move to folder and hit "go" You should have the choices of in box out box and the folder you created. Sorry if my tips are a little janky but I'm not good at IT, but I just tried it and it worked. |

Thanks, but, as I stated earlier, I have already created the necessary Sales and Purchases folders. I'm just having difficulty sending 'Sent' messages to those two folders. I am now using Tim's latest tip, and, though it is, as he said, cumbersome, it does work. So, unless there are some truly proud and authentic IT geeks out there, this will have to do. (Sorry, I called y'all minions.) |
Just tried sending to a created folder from my sent box and hit the same wall, bowing out gracefully.
