House of David
Leland's catalog has a cool House of David game worn jersey but refers to the House of David as "a sect of orthodox Jews." Incorrect. While they certainly bore more than a passing similiarity to Orthodox Jews in appearance, they were a Christian community.
Don't know why errors like this annoy me but they do. Like if this is wrong . . . .what else is wrong. . . . On that note, Happy Easter and Passover to all celebrating. |

I spent a lot of time at The House of David in the early 70's before it completely dissolved.
Fun place. Amusement park, penny arcade, amphitheater. Never saw the baseball team. Ended long before my time. I do have a ticket stub from one of their games, though. |
