Info on 1908 St. Louis Republic Browns Supplement
1 Attachment(s)
Hi Gang:
Out of my area of expertise here. Anyone know anything about a set of St. Louis Browns Supplements from 1908 issued by the St. Louis Republic? Checklist? Show others you have etc. This one of Dan Hoffman is 8 1/2 x 11. I LOVE the insignia on the hat and his wavy brim! :) |
I would also look at the 1908 “Our Home Team” postcard which has all the St Louis members on it. They might use the same image on a couple of players.

I once owned a Waddell, but I traded it long ago. I believe he was capless, so there was no cool logo.

There were full sets of both the Browns and the Cardinals in a recent auction, but I forget which one.
Here's my Charles Achenbach Cardinals supplement : |
Hey Doug:
Looks like Lelands! Thanks for the heads up. See : https://auction.lelands.com/bids/bidplace?itemid=112669 at least now I have an idea of value if anyone comes a callin interested in mine. Appreciate it |
I auctioned the complete sets as well. A very scarce issue, especially in complete set form.

Encapsulating supplements
I know this is a very old post but I just picked up a 1909 St Louis Republic Supplement of Barney Pelty for my PC and would like it encapsulated. Does anyone know who or "if" there are any grading companies that will slab these?
