Golf Grading Opinion 1933 Sport Kings
8 Attachment(s)
I'll attach photos here but is it worth it to even grade a few of these 1933 Sport Kings. I would imagine the Sarazen would get a 1, the Hagen in the one touch a one as well and it has a pencil mark. The one I'm thinking the most is the Hagen that looks good but is off center and the top left corner has a small tear. Would that still give it a 1 or could it possibly go higher? Is it even worth the cost to send any of these in? Appreciate any help!

I think the nicer Hagen would get a 1.5 or 2 with SGC. But for "should you grade" it depends what you want to do with the cards. If you never want to touch them again and want them to take up more space, then you should grade. If you want to sell them, maybe could/should grade them but can probably sell them for the same price as a 1 raw.

I think they are honestly just keepers for me. I collect older golf things so no real reason to sell. Just hoping someone finds me a deal on an Old Tom autograph eventually. Think he is about the only one I'm missing!

If the Hagen on the left didn't have the pinhole at the bottom, I would have expected a 2 or 2.5 from PSA. With the pinhole as well, probably a 1.
The other Hagen might be a 2(MK) which also counts as a 1 for the registry. The Sarazen is a straight up 1. |
