Hi I'm new to this . I was renovating my house, which was built in the 1800's and I found a baseball in one of the walls. I can find some names but not all and any other info would helpful. I'm not sure what to do next. Thanks for any help. Shane

All penned by the same hand. Some kid made his own team signed ball.

Well 4 or 5 names are from 1935 Era. One is a pitcher from 1890 and the other 4 or 5 I can't find so it's not a team ball. Nobody else who has seen the ball think it's the same hand not sure why you do.

The style of handwriting, size and placement of the signatures, and 45+ years of collecting sports memorabilia and autographs tell me that this ball was penned by a kid.

One of the signatures on the ball looks like “ JoJo White”. The baseball player Joyner White played for Detroit in the 1930s but he spelled his name . There are samples of his signature on eBay.

I agree that this is a fantasy piece. Handwriting is extremely poor / shaky for the time period when most adults could write flowing cursive. My guess is that a kid did this. My first thought was it was a high school team ball.

I showed my wife, who is a handwriting checker trained by law enforcement to catch forgeries. She said "looks like the same handwriting."

It’s 100% without question done in the same hand.
