Which grading companies grade under magnification?

I know that CSG grades under 10x magnification currently, but how about PSA and SGC?

Have their policies changed over time?

For instance, in the case of PSA, the time that the card was graded is evident from the cert number, I've noticed that cards with older cert numbers look worse under magnification than cards in the same grade with the recent cert numbers. As such, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a change in the magnification policy for PSA over time.

For SGC, I cannot tell from the cert number when the card was actually graded (I could be wrong, but I don't know how to tell), so hard to say for sure.

Thoughts appreciated.

I'm fairly sure SGC did. Not sure if they still do.

When I asked about a couple cards of mine I thought were a bit undergraded, the magnifier was the first thing used. And they showed me some extra flaws I hadn't seen. One obvious, the other not so obvious.

They all do. Using a 10x jewelers loupe is standard practice. Every collector should own one and learn how to use it.
