This auction is for the Ruth cutout only.

I picked this lot up here recently and have enjoyed checking these out and taking some high-resolution scans but this type of item doesn’t fit my collection and I’m not enjoying them as much as someone else here maybe would…even the Ruth.

After consulting with and considering the original seller’s thoughts, I’ve decided to list them on the $1 weekly auction.

The Ruth listed separately here and the remaining 9 in another lot. So come get yourself something unusual. Ends during the Super Bowl for extra good measure.

What follows is the original seller’s description of the items. I don’t really know any more than that, but could maybe answer any questions about what you see on the scans. Shipping will be $5, thanks for looking.

Original Description:

"Group of…what appear to be advertising or promotional cutouts for the 1926 Sports Company of America cards. The image sizes and print style are identical to the actual cards; but they are printed on a paper stock. I’ve sold some of the sheet cut blank back cards and these are definitely not the same as those. They are very similar to the Red Grange Sports Company of America cutouts which were produced only as promotional item. My guess is that these were once part of an advertising or proof sheet. I’m very confident that they are period. Full disclosure…I sent these to SGC and they would not grade them.” - Original Seller
