T206 storage

I have a lot of raws in sleeves and top loaders ( they seem to move around too much in magnatics. ) but what type of box do you store them in ? Or safe?

I found a few of these cool copper colored slotted design metal trays with plastic end pieces for cheap at a closeout out store many years ago. Funny thing is, shortly after buying them I went to eat at IHOP, and on the table were these same trays holding their jars of syrup.

They work perfectly for Card Savers 2 size sleeves and PSA graded cards (SGC slabs are just a little too wide). A whole lot classier than cardboard boxes.

A key for me when placing a T206 in this size of card sleeve is to install it fairly low in the sleeve, as it seems to better keep the T206 in a stationary position.

I use the super vault boxes from BCWsupplies.com.

They're cardboard, and hold 75-80 PSA/SGC slabs, or a bit over 400 cards in semi-rigid cardsavers.

I have my more valuable cards in a fireproof safe. Rest of my set in a fireproof bag in a combination of binder sheets, and toploaders. I have a link below to a nice little box from Ultrapro that holds tobacco sized toploaders - they work great for all of my raw commons. Unfortunately they are out of stock right now.

I’ve used these “Sterelite” 6qt. bins for many years. T-cards in top loaders and some slabbed. Fit in there nicely and the bins are stackable. Definitely can fit 200 or more in top loaders. They measure around 13 x 8 x 4
Good luck in your search and please let us know what you end up using.

This is great - maintain the aroma of the cards!

Raw

It warms the heart to see so many raw cards! I really like the cigar boxes, so maybe I’ll grab a few next time I hit the stogie shop. I’m getting wood floors put in right now, but will post a pic of the cool wood box my wife found, once I unbury it from the clutter…

My raw cards are all in penny sleeves and toploaders. That said, they are sitting on a rack and need to be organized better. This thread gave me some thoughts!!

If you carefully stack them in a breeze-free area, you don't need any other storage option.

Brian (stack never tumbled, and T206 cards are also no longer mine)

Cheese boxes! Also the Woodlore box for SGC.
Let’s see if the pic comes along with.
