1953 Bowman Color Mickey Mantle graded SGC "Authentic - Erased"

Recently graded. Scans below are those provided by SGC.

This one is a real conundrum for me. Wasn't sure what to ask for it, so thought I'd let it fly here.

Looks like a 5 or 6 (o/c) to me in hand. I don't see any obvious hidden creases or wrinkles on it.

Full transparency, I originally submitted this to PSA thinking it might possibly grade a 5 or so, and it was returned as "Altered Stock" and un-holdered. I couldn't see anything obviously wrong with it so sent it in to SGC.

Both companies caught something whether I could see it or not.

I don't see anything obviously "erased". I looked at both sides under a light and magnifying glass, and on really close inspection under a double loupe, it looks like the top border may have been flattened out from looking at the back side of the card...either by one of those archaic screwdown holders...an eraser?...or something else.

Either way, presents incredibly for the grade...but it is, what it is.

Important Note - Using 10 minute rule at end of auction. Each auction closes to new bidders at 10:00pm. 10pm good, 10:01 is too late. After 10pm the clock starts for 10 minutes on each lot, and resets every time a previous bidder puts a bid in. Each lot will run on it's own separate clock.

Example - for simplicity sake and because we don't have an actual countdown clock, lets make it a full 10 minute interval. (ie. bid goes in at 10:05 then all bids are good through 10:15 on the clock. 10:16 is too late)
