Ted Williams autograph opinion
 

Good afternoon. I have had this photo for years and was on the fence on if the signature was authentic or not. Would greatly appreciate any opinions for those inclined to share.

This looks like some sort of colored faux signature to me. A closer shot of it would definitely help.

absolutely. Attached are two more photos. When holding it on an angle, you can see the pen mark indentation on the photo, so I believe it is live ink. Just wasnt sure if it was an authentic Williams, or secretarial/clubhouse.

Between the "open" "d", and the last stroke of the "W" curving the wrong way, I don't like it.

The "W" also appears to be wobbly and slow.

Curious what others think.....

Authentic in my opinion. But I admit, Williams is tricky for me. I am much more comfortable with Mantle.

I think it’s clubhouse.
