Ken,

On my own i guessed and checked and it's not Koenig, Pipp, Combs, either Meusel or Spud Chandler.

But whoever it is, it's absolutely awesome you got that tattoo. I'll keep thinking.

You happy with how it came out??

You absolutely have the right general era and Ruth was a teammate. The tattoo artist nailed it and very happy with the ink.

Correct! First Yankee ever to get a hit in a World Series and first Yankee to ever score a run in a World Series. Center fielder in the 1921 World Series.

NiceDocter 10-07-2024 08:32 PM

Maybe

Jumpin Joe Dugan? Oops never mind. Hahah. Beautiful work someone did there, very detailed and realistic

Casey2296 10-07-2024 08:32 PM

Either way, that's some commitment.

Fred 10-07-2024 08:38 PM

Norm McMillan, 1922 :p

That's a nice piece of art work.

kmac32 10-07-2024 08:43 PM

It is Elmer Miller of the 1921and 1922 Yankees. I did it as a tribute to him as he is my Great Great Uncle. Wanted this one for a long time and wanted the Polo Grounds to be in it. Took me 5plus years just to decide on placement and the tattoo artist made to polo Grounds off of a 1919 postcard I won in REA. He nailed the design in my opinion off the pic and postcard I supplied.

There was a McMillan involved but that would be Ken McMillan.
