Amazing Signed 1933 Goudey Collection

I was watching some videos on YouTube last night and came across this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK85Y7XYgoI

About 10 minutes into the video they visited someone that had an amazing signed collection of 1933 Goudey's. I thought, "That sounds familiar." Sure enough, after a quick search there he was on Net54 talking about the collection. Marty has been a member here for a long time, but doesn't post very often.

You can see some of the many cards Marty collects along with the Goudeys. It's really great to hear his stories and the way he collected the cards over the years. Check it out, I think you'll enjoy it.

A passionate collector's story

Hey David
Thanks for posting this. I just got around to watching the video (starting at about the 10min. mark). That is an awesome story. I love hearing collecting stuff like this. Well worth the watch. And a big congrats to Marty for pursuing our gems so passionately and for so long. I think he said something like "then things got out of control" in collecting LOL>... Many of us have been there.
That's what it's all about.

Marty was also on a live stream back in January 2024 where he showed several of his signed Goudeys.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm generally a pretty private person, so agreeing to do these things definitely gets me out of my comfort zone. That said, the guys at Chasing Cardboard were fantastic to work with and I was happy with the final cut.

I am always looking for signed 33's. If you have one, feel free to email me a photo at martyesullivan@yahoo.com or on Instagram @signed1933goudey
