I'm curious if anyone has another example similar to this one?

I got this signed in person in 2000 at the Ballpark in Arlington when Johnson was with Arizona.

Handed him the ball and he scribbled this and handed it back.

It is not recognizable based on other examples I've seen. But I know it's his because I was there...

I've seen a ton in that style. That's the "I hate that I'm not being paid to sign this" version. You got lucky; some are even worse.

Back in the day his personality matched his face.

At spring training when with the Giants I got a similar one on a card

That's the "get out of my face" version of his signature. I have a similar one I got at a golf course in Toronto years ago. He was with Heathcliff Slocumb. Slocumb was super nice, Johnson refused to sign for me but Slocumb said he would give my card to Johnson to sign since Johnson ignored us all. Got a great signature from Slocumb and a scribble from Johnson.
