Arguably, the best female athlete ever.

I'd second that assessment. It's an incredible record in a sport with massive developed country participation.

Not much. This one is probably only high double digits. No Caitlin Clark, she.

Maybe time for me to pick up one of her cards...

It's so hard to compare across sports and eras.
Today there are so many world class meets for most sports the number of wins seems less of a big deal.
The lengthy time with world records and wins is impressive.

World is full of amazing athletes who will never have any broad interest in the collecting world.

For a race that long, to have THREE swimmers that close the whole way was incredible.
